@EmApple21 this is the recipe I am going to use this week. Not SURE if I will add oxyclean. But I WILL add essential oil. So far I LOVE this stuff. (I just used a bar of ivory, to one cup of Borax, to one cup of washing soda and it works great.) Haven't had any problem with ivory soap dissolving and I didn't grate super fine.
Homemade Fabric Softener (My clothes are SO soft - softer than with store-bought, and smell fresh and clean. The scent of the conditioner is definitely there. This recipe makes a lot of softener, so I only made half.)
BEST soap scum remover!! This REALLY works well. After trying a few other Pinterest suggestions, I made this. It's odd, but it's GREAT. Make a vinegar "gel" by thickening vinegar with cornstarch. The vinegar CLINGS to what ever you spray it on...thus gives it more time to work. A little detergent cuts grease. I heated 1 cup of vinegar and 1 T corn starch in the microwave for 2 minutes. Add 2 T dish detergent and put it in a spay bottle. Spray. Wait 1hr. Wipe. Rinse.
Urine stain removal from pets or potty training: 8oz hydrogen peroxide mixed with 3T baking soda - stir until dissolved. Pour into spray bottle, add 1-2 drops dish soap. Shake & spray on stain - when dries the stain & odor are gone! (Test for color bleaching in an inconspicuous place first)
