You don't break it you fix it--- And you have to marry your best friend and be ready to put up with their crazy quirks and imperfections forever, forgive and learn, and understand that no one is perfect but Jesus, so don't hold anyone to that standard. Especially your spouse.
And the one who forgets is also the one most at risk of getting fooled for the nth time. No thanks... I believe in keeping in mind the people who should be labelled as dangerous or bad for personal well-being. Not necessarily out of spite, but just in case.

I life the *idea* of this, but the reality is, you best be interested in *both* people being happy... work for a win-win situation and nobody gets short-changed.
