use a dish rack as a file sorter. I think this would be a welcome addition to our household (most of our mail ends up piling on the couch) File System, Holding File, Writing Center, Dishes Drainer, Classroom Ideas, Dishes Racks, Classroom Organic, File Folders, Pencil Holders

avoid a jumbled mess of mail & school papers by setting up a center for each family member. use the area to corral artwork, forms, magazines, homework assignments, as soon as they enter the house. at each week, go through the contents of each box; discard the old material and file away things to keep.
Cute! I actually use decorated baby food jars in my bathrooms. They are smaller so they fit inside the medicine cabinets, but still keep things organized and neat. :)
This works super good. I didn't go straight across with the ribbon. I used two rows of the circles so I could get a few more rolls in here. Works great. Used a little cotter pin to hold the rods in.
Re-purposed dish rack. I've been looking for a mail-sorter. All the mail ends up on our breakfast table in heaps and piles. This would be perfect to put on our kitchen desk (which is only a few steps from the breakfast table) and suit the whole kitchen theme, too!
This "I'm done..." board is a great way to remind students of their choices once they have completed the current activity. By having this posted as a bulletin board or poster within the room, students would have a visual reminder of the acceptable options they have while awaiting transition to the next activity. This procedure would help maintain order as well as keep faster students busy.
Did this for Mom for mothers day. I got wooden letters and painted them, then took photos and got them framed. I plan on doing it every few years as the kids grow up. Hint only buy one M. Or one D if your doing it for Dad. Wooden letters can be found here: www.craftcuts.com....
