Love the blue & yellow themed office space by Jennifer Pebbles. paperandink.typep...

The Attic This attic, like many others, could easily have become a glorified closet. Instead, it became a cozy home office, with a narrow writing desk and a pair of low, wide bookshelves that fit snugly under the slanted, wallpapered ceiling. A sisal rug, the wooden blinds, and a vintage-style light add to the room's warmth.

Attic bedroom. Space for dancing and using your imagination! :) SOOO wish I had an attic room :)))

Attic office! I have been wondering what to do with our attic and this is it!! I could do all my crafty/photo stuff upstairs awasy from it all!! LOVE THIS!!

The question is whether to leave the rafters open or not (there'd be lots of nails to hide...) Just the diagonal walls, not the vertical walls. And I'd make it look a little more finished. Hm.

Create a bunk room in an otherwise unusable attic space. Back-to-back beds fit just right in this long, narrow room. Built-in storage maximizes limited square footage. The under-the-bed drawers are easy for kids to reach and eliminate the need for bulky dressers.

A neutral ivory backdrop makes this attic space seem much larger. Brown, green, and blue furnishings create a warm, handsome look. A mix of seating, including a pair of teak armchairs, a small pedestal table and chairs, and a decoupaged desk, gives this room plenty of space for hanging out or entertaining. I would kill to be able to do this in my attic. For now I'll just settle for a pull down door instead of an access panel.
