Language Arts & Reading: It's Hard To Be A Verb book.
It's Hard to be a Verb! by Julia Cook is a poetry book. It has great rhyme schemes about a boy who cannot control his ADHD until his mom comes up with a way for him because she herself has ADHD. It's a great book at all ages that would be great for accepting the idea that not everyone is the same. It would be a good social unit to use.
Like using children's books even in a middle school classroom... the kids seem to enjoy it too.

Totally. I hated speech therapy. Bright happy kid, needs to be berated because her "th" and "s" aren't clear. What a waste of everyone's time. Never helped either.
