There are lots of great Tshirt quilt tutorials out there. The only thing I would recommend is getting a quarter inch piece of plexi from Lowe's and making two squares from it- for large designs 13" square (for 12" finished and 1/2" seam allowance) and for pocket designs 7" square (6" finished with 1/2" seam allowance). This allows you to line up everything just how you want it before cutting. In my experience, most screen printed tees aren't straight!

Best looking T-shirt quilt I've seen. I like the black borders around everything. Save kids old t shirts as thy grow and then make it for them hen they move out of the house. Memories to sleep with in a college dorm.
