Unclogging a Sink Using Household Items

- the baking soda and vinegar works really well for unclogging but here is a recipe for keeping drains smelling fresh --> 1/2 cup baking soda with 1/4 cup table salt and pour down drain - follow by pouring 1 cup heated vinegar down the drain and let stand for 15 minutes - then run hot tap water for a minute

Use baking soda and vinegar to unclog a drain. 1) Pour 3/4-1 cup of baking soda in the drain. 2) Pour 1/2 cup vinegar in the drain and immediately cover the drain with a plate. 3) Wait 30 minutes, then uncover and run hot water for 2-3 mins. 4) Repeat for really tough clogs.
