The best part about rereading a bok is how your knowledge and perception of the characters change. You get to know them slowly and eventually are let in on all the little quirks you missed before.

This is why I don't agree with the "They can read whatever they want; at least they're reading" argument. If you're going to read, read good literature, literature that uplifts, that makes you think and challenges you in good ways with good words.
