Spotted Lake (Khiluk) is a salt alkali lake in British Columbia with high concentrations of magnesium sulfate, calcium and sodium sulfate as well as a number of other minerals and metals. As the water evaporates in the summer, dry spots of salt deposits appear, leaving natural walkways around the rims.

The lake is a closed basin (has no drainage), and contains dense deposits of magnesium sulfate, calcium and sodium sulphates, which give the deposits distinct colours of yellow, orange, green, or blue. Spotted Lake is max 700 x 250 m in size.

The Spotted Lake has a very highly concentration of numerous different minerals such as magnesium sulfate, calcium and sodium sulphates. It also contains extremely high concentrations of eight other minerals as well as some small doses of four others such as silver and titanium.
