This artwork/creation is an example of balance. It portrays a symmetrical visual balance. If you were to cut this art work in half or any other way, it would be the same on both sides, because the pattern is the same throughout. The artist who created this piece wanted to show balance, and how they weighted the visual artwork for it to be the same on both sides.
