“21 Picture Books About Strong Girls” This list of picture books contains useful summaries about stories that have girls with strong voices, whose feelings are validated, and who don’t give up because someone said ‘a girl can’t do it’ as the main characters. I have boys, but I feel that reading something from a girl's perspective is good for them.

{5 Year Journal} Every mom has at some point said: "I should write that down!" in reference to hysterical things her kids have said. This 5 year journal provides 5 lines per day, just enough space to write that funny quote of the day or milestone reached and allows you to compare your family's memories on each day of the year for 5 years. I'm in year 2 and it is a priceless way to end each day--laughing about last year's quotes, documenting today's, and wondering about next year's.
