The incredibly colourful "rainbow mountains" look like they're from an alien planet, but they actually exist right here on Earth. More precisely, they're part of the Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park in Gansu, China. The rainbow mountains became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010.

Leshan Giant Buddha, Sichuan, China It is the largest carved stone Buddha in the world and it is by far the tallest pre-modern statue in the world. The Mount Emei Scenic Area, including Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996.
Maytszishan cave. Treasure of China. Buddhist complex Maytszishan - little known. It is located in Gansu Province in northwest China. This is a striking architectural complex, carved out of the rock. Maytszishan has 7000 Buddhist sculptures and nearly 1,000 square meters of murals.
