Slap Words! The game is simple. I put our vocabulary words on different colored sheets of tag board. (That way if a word gets mixed up with another stack, it's easy to spot.) Words cards lie on top of table face up. I call out a word. Person to find it first slaps their hand down on top of the card, then takes the card and puts it to the side in "their pile". Person with the most words wins!

1. Players take turns reaching into the container and pulling out a flashcard. If they can read the word aloud correctly, they get to keep the card. If the player is incorrect, the card goes back into the container. 2. Continue taking turns, reading and collecting correctly answered cards. 3. If you pull out a BANG! card, you must put your whole pile of cards back into the container!
Game for sight words. Canister is filled with cups and each cup has a sight word on it. When a sight word is read correctly, they can start building a tower. If they get a word wrong or knock over the tower or the tower falls, they have to start over.
