Me Talk Pretty One Day - David Sedaris One of my most absolute favorite books. It was introduced to me in my freshman year of high school and it completely changed my way of thinking when it came to fiction and non-fiction as well as news writing. Thankful to my English teach for having us listen to Sedaris read "The Youth in Asia."

All of his books are wonderful (well, "Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk" is a little out there) but this is my favorite. "6-8 Black Men" still makes me laugh hysterically :)

Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim. By: David Sedaris. This book had me laughing so hard, I was crying!

Every single one of Mr. Sedaris's books are "worth reading," but this was my first Sedaris and while it isn't his first book, it is a wonderful introduction to his world; my best friend Jill and I have a mutual love for the story "The Ship Shape." I guarentee you will be clamouring for more once you turn the final page.

Chapter 14 is on of my favorite David Sedaris essays—Six to Eight Black Men.

Is it bad that I once spent 50 dollars to listen to him read his stuff aloud and still consider some of the best money I've ever spent?
