How to clean your garbage disposal. Start by running hot water through your garbage disposal for a minute. Pour about 1/4 c. baking soda into the drain. Flip the garbage disposal on for 2 seconds, just to whirl the baking soda inside, and then leave it alone for 10-15 minutes. Follow with 1 c. of vinegar. Watch the bubbles erupt out of your drain. Clean jewelry 1 TBSP salt 1 TBSP baking soda 1 TBSP dish liquid 1 cup water 1 piece tin foil Heat water in the microwave for 1 or 2 mins. Cut a piece of foil that covers the bottom of a small bowl. Pour hot water into bowl. Add salt, soda, & dishwash liquid to bowl. Place bowl on top of foil & let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse jewelry in cool water & dry with soft cloth.
