Grainographic by goodeggs: Some grains have been partially cooked or prepped before you buy them, which can affect how much water you’ll need, as well as the cooking method. Couscous (which isn’t actually a grain, but feels like part of the family) is typically “quick-cooking,” having been pre-steamed and dried. And, just like personal preferences, every grain is a little bit different, so always adjust water as needed so it’s to your liking. #Grains #Cooking #Infographic
HEAVY CREAM ~If you need heavy cream for a recipe, make your own by combining 2/3 cup whole milk with 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter. This will give you 1 cup of heavy cream. Good to know since we always have those items in the fridge.
