Oh the kitchen! We (mainly Jesse) spend a fair amount of time here mixing drinks, cooking dinner or hand washing dishes, as we don’t have a dishwasher. The floor runner was a purchase from Crate and Barrel and the knives on the wall were a product of several trips to local swap meets and antique fairs.
Kitchen - I dream of this all-white kitchen with walls and cabinets made of glass, for light to shine through and keep flowing freely through this open, airy space. I love the clean and earthy white-green palette. It's truly peaceful.
Two long runs of counter space give plenty of room in this cottage kitchen. Blue-painted antique corbels hold open shelving and support the peninsula overhang, bringing vintage-inspired whimsy to the space. Sarah chose three different cabinet colors to create a dynamic color palette. She used natural materials and a lighthearted color for the backsplash, and the seeded glass cabinet doors bring an extra touch of softness. Design by Sarah Richardson
