'Let the Dogs Speak' author Marianne McKiernan has been involved with Canine Companions for Independence since 2001, when she received her first puppy in training. Along with her husband, John, she has raised eight Canine Companion pups, and counting. Marianne is a two-time Emmy award winning producer who currently lives in Denver where she works at KMGH-TV, the ABC affiliate.
