Seeds in a CD case. This would be fun and students could watch a bean grow.

Standard Lima-Bean Growing Activity... with a small twist. No longer do teachers and students need to struggle with Ziploc bags, instead, students can plant their seeds right into empty CD jewel cases. Totally awesome!!!

CD bean plant

Grow a Lima bean in your window. While this is not really a craft project, it will still be something fun for the kids to do. Once the bean starts growing the kids could always paint a nice pot to plant it in. Think I'll do this one with my cloverbuds.
