terrarium pendant lamp of handblown glass offered by anthropologie.com

  • Kat Engh

    Holy hanging plant lamp!

  • Lindsay Wirth

Part planter, part grow-light, this handblown glass orb is just the thing for those who want some greenery in their homes, but are limited by light, space or environment. Create a self-sunning, almost-no-water-required microcosm of tropicals, epiphytes, fresh herbs or succulents in the included growing medium. Handmade in California by Carmen Salazar; no two are exactly alike.

lamp terrarium - could this really last long-term?

New glass! This is something new we have been trialling lately and we think we have finally got it. This cactus garden has been loving the light and we, in turn, are loving it!

Terrarium Pendant Lamp, from Anthropologie.com, is part planter, part grow-light. Handblown glass creates a self-sunning, almost-no-water-required microcosm of tropicals, epiphytes, fresh herbs or succulents in the included growing medium. Handmade in CA by Carmen Salazar. $499. 12" h, 12" dia. 40 watt max, plug-in cord. Plants not included.

I love this Anthropologie lamp shade. I think you could recreate it quite easily by cutting out petal shapes and raveling the edges then gluing them on. Just make sure you use fabric that ravels easily.

love these!! they remind me of big wine goblets

Take a globe, cut a hole at the bottom and a smaller one up top (with a Dremel tool). You can then get the wiring at IKEA and just run it through the top

Pendant Lamp that can be used to grow herbs or succulents | oh my goodness. If we have a house again - this is beyond perfect.

It's a neat lamp. But it's a $5 yard sale find with a $5 cord. Quite a scam to sell it for $185 on Etsy.

Victorian terrarium - Hate pretty much anything that lives in a terrarium but this is so pretty!!!
