Just did a version of these for Miss F's Kindergarten class for Father's Day. Instead of punching the hole in the backing only, I glued the layers together & then laminated it all together (2 sides) using the industrial machine at school. I then used a leather punch (smaller than a regular hole punch) to make the hole for the tassel.

I can imagine doing something cool with photos + vintage industrial metal grating (not a memo board, but maybe clips+photos?)

The frames disappear, and all you see is a grid of memories and smiles!!!! --- Apartment Therapy has some great ideas for displaying photos!

I love glass bottle. The material is very solid but also fragile, the pieces can cut and once you drop something inside, it could be very hard to take it back out, unless you decide to break it. :)
