    BAD IDEA!!!!! Fill container with vinegar, sugar and salt to trap wasps ... and ensure that your garden is overrun with caterpillars and other pests. Wasps hunt and kill caterpillars, spiders and other garden pests. Notice that lacewings also got trapped. They eat aphids.

Add a mixture of vinegar, sugar and salt. The wasps are attracted to the sweet and sour scent yet bees don’t seem to be attracted by this sour mixture whereas a honey mix would be a fatal attractant.
