Based on the back drop, this looks very much like Lake Como, Italy - more the reason why it will be where I retire someday.

Love the idea of having a pergola extending out into the pool.. maybe not something so luxurious. Maybe just having a pergola that is "peninsula-ed" into a pool so you still have the same effect on being surrounded by water.
