This stone floor in a herringbone pattern is in the basement of a beautiful home that I saw recently, with interiors by John Oetgen.

Beautiful butler mirror with bird {Seen on Nibs Blog}. Seen on Eclectic Home tidyowl.com

Theres so much history behind those big homes!! Fine detailed wood work from the english, french and spanish settlers!! Id just go down south and try to salvage and renovate a home to match its bones!!

I think this would be fun with one of those tacky, old gold, frames that used to be so popular. I would under-paint it with hammered bronze spray paint first, then go over it with the turquoise (or another color) but not completely cover up the bronze. Then of course you would have to have a mirror cut to fit, but that is pretty inexpensive. Would be such a FUN project! LOVE IT!!

Great colour stone floor. See our stone floor cleaning services: www.artofclean.co...

Good DIY tutorial on how to make your own aged mirror.

Brick floor in the kitchen. Warm and inviting. (Put a drain in the floor and all you have to do is spray it down!)
