I've been doing this at home for the past month, and, so far, so good - neither I nor my teenager have come down with any of the bugs or flu going around (fingers crossed). There's also a simple soup recipe for colds/flu in this article I'm using once a week as insurance. It does not smell like apple pie, but if it works, who cares? And, if you have a chronic health condition, it only makes sense to try to keep away from any added health burdens. Try this! :)
