Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcîa Marrquez Bookcovers - About Today - Illustration by Lizzy Stewart

had to read this for Theories of Gender and Sexuality, but it turned into something I really enjoyed unlike a lot of the things we read in that class.

I read this book so many times when I was little. I loved Shel Silverstein and remember writing him letters when I was in 2nd grade to see if he'd put my poems in his books. lol.

Kids book. I'm all about cute ones for the kids that are entertaining enough for the adults.

Loved this one when my kids were little. "Guess how much I love you," says Little Nutbrown Hare. Little Nutbrown Hare shows his daddy how much he loves him: as wide as he can reach and as far as he can hop. But Big Nutbrown Hare, who can reach farther and hop higher, loves him back just as much. Well then Little Nutbrown Hare loves him right up to the moon, but that's just halfway to Big Nutbrown Hare's love for him.

The Boxcar Children- I love these books - always read them to my children and my classes! Patricia McLaughton (Sarah, Plain & Tall) has written a prequel - wonderful!

Had every one of these books! (And in 2nd grade, I was told by a classmate that our teacher skipped a day of reading out loud from Ramona because I was absent & she knew how much I loved the books! LOL!

One of my favorite childhood books!

Love this book. Everyone should read it at least a couple hundred times in their lifetime!
