"words to live by" - If we're not grateful, it's hard to be graceful. Even if I cuss like a sailor, I try regard other humans like a classy lady. I hope I always remember these words. :) Maybe it's just time to find a chalkboard to write them on?!
Sometimes it's hard to justify spending my summer at an overnight horse camp, when everyone else is pursuing research and internships. But I don't have many chances to shape the life of a child, and Raintree is something I need to do. Working with kids and horses during the summer and seeing the impact I have on them gives me strength to draw on during the year.
Forget all the psycho-babel-bullcrap; deep down your heart's love for someone is real. But Never again will I ever allow others to have me think I am somehow codependent. Mourn it, let it go, move on, and be wiser for the next journey...never ever be confused again....
