Art for dinning room ?? Ansel Adams Photograph Road Nevada Desert 1960. Wow its amazing how Adams can take something generic like a road and make look beautiful. When I was a kid my family took a road trip to the Grand Canyon, this photo reminds me of this journey across the American southwest. I want to go back and take another road trip across this breathtaking landscape.
Ansel Adams (U.S., 1902-1984): Road, Nevada Desert Silver-gelatine print, 7.5 x 9.5 inches, circa 1960 Speaking volumes about the wide open spaces of the American West... and about the road ahead... this image shows a surprising side to Ansel Adams' works. But Adams' career was filled with fresh visual surprises--insights that combined to make him the most famous photographer of the twentieth century.
Photographer and environmentalist Ansel Adams was born in California on February 20, 1902. His black and white landscape images of the southwest, especially Yosemite National Park, transformed photography into an art form. Adams died on April 22, 1984. This image is of a Nevada Desert Road, taken around 1960.

I like the symmetry and its depth too. The photo doesn't have a clear, centre point to focus on so theres more movement to the photo. Ansel Adams
