My Idea: Money Jar is filled with E.'s allowance. For each chore/responsibility not completed or second reminder needed for completion, money will be removed from jar and placed in Mommy's Money Jar.

Good ideas & explanations, I think it important to add that you must think before threatening or drawing lines in the sand. Follow through is important, so speak after thinking, know why you're doing it and then DO whatever you've claimed to do. Otherwise kids will not trust your boundaries.
