ID, EGO, SUPEREGO ORIGIN: Created by Sigmund Freud, Id, Ego, and Superego represent three types of personalities that are within a person. Ego makes decisions in order to attempt to satisfy both Is and Superego. EXPLANATION: Id represents desires at any cost. Superego represents morality. Ego has to actually make the decisions in reality.  EXAMPLE: Bob's friends are like his Id, while his parents are like his Superego.
