Instead of wearing yourself out by scrubbing, simply fill a bowl (one that is microwave safe) with 1 to 2 cups of water, 2 tablespoons of white vinegar and a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Place the bowl in the microwave and run for 5 minutes. If you have a really messy microwave, leave it sitting in there for a few extra minutes after the timer goes off. Then just wipe clean with a damp towel.

It works! - Over time, towels build up detergent and fabric softener, leaving them unable to absorb as much water and smelly. Recharge them by washing them once with hot water and 1cup vinegar, then a 2nd time with hot water and half cup baking soda. This strips the residue and leaves them fresh and able to absorb more water again. Works like a charm!
DIY laundry stain remover (Better than Shout!) 2/3 cup Dawn dish detergent 2/3 cup ammonia 6 TBSP baking soda Mix everything together in a bowl with 2 cups of warm water. Using a funnel, pour into a spray bottle.
