Gather your supplies: Mason Jar Jar lid Pretty paper to jazz up your jar. Cut it to fit and cover your tin lid. A pump from an old dispenser. I took mine off of a lotion jar from the grocery store. I think you can also buy these at craft stores. But any old soap dispenser will do. Glue gun. Find a couple canning jars at the thrift store in two different sizes that would work as hand soap dispensers for the bathroom and kitchen. Choose a basic glossy white spray paint and spray it on the outside of the jars. Then take a nail and hammer it into the center of the jars' lids to start a hole. Fill a Mason Jar With Christmas Lights. Dangerous. The lights emit heat, which will very soon melt the plastic of the wires leading to a short circuit. Pretty. But not worth the risk!
