Incredible Drive Above the Trees - in WASHINGTON state, about two miles west of the summit of Snoqualmie Pass on Interstate 90 through the Cascade Mountains; it is a 20-span, 3,630 feet long viaduct across a steep, forested slope, a deep ravine, and an avalanche path
From another pinner: Port Townsend, WA. Glass Beach. This was one of my favorite places to go when I lived there. Dump trucks used to back up to the edge of the bluff and dump trash into the ocean. Now there is tons of Sea Glass and old rusted relics. I miss it.
Santa Cruz: Where you're 10 minutes away from the Redwoods and the Beach, the sunsets look something like this, and you have about two weeks total of Winter weather (but youre're close enough to make day trips to the snow).
