Organize your copies for the week. When I first saw this, I thought it looked like the Harry Potter font. So...I think I want to write the days of the week in that font. Either that or paint the set to look like the TARDIS.

Letter Of The Week Crafts - just one part of learning and playing with letters. When did your child start showing interest in letters?

I haven't spent a lot of time on this blog yet, but there are already two things I love about it: its name "No Time for Flash Cards" and the fact that part of the letter "M" unit includes making a Matisse collage.

Great ideas and the kids feel so smart and clever when they do these paper folding projects.

How many weeks, days, hours left until the end of the school year? Are you counting? Read this article from #WeAreTeachers for some great ideas for year-end lesson plans!

Classroom Management 2- I started trying something similar to this a couple months ago. I started having students fill out a Friday exit sheet. This way seems much faster and easier. Something to think about...

Body outlines in the block center - great science & math connection (count the # of blocks needed)

One of the best classroom arrangements I have ever seen. How does this woman have the time!?

Cool Bulletin Board idea to "spotlight" a student or famous person. I would do both. Maybe every week a different actor, playwright, designer, etc to research to extra credit or a weekly report, and every now and then a student, to make them feel special having been up on the same wall as a big name.

A Rockin' Good Time: a rock unit (anchor chart and writing activity). This would be a great way to show the different sizes and states of rocks. It would be very easy to make as well. One thing that I see wrong with it is I would find drawings of the different rocks so that the students could see them.

Weekly Activity/Project Organizer for teachers! (we covered the fronts of the drawers with scrapbook paper and labeled each drawer)

Cool beginning of the year project or buddy project. We all have a hand in our learning
