Half-shoulderstand. Excellent variation on shoulderstand. Great for times you are feeling too tight in your shoulders, chest, back or hamstrings to go into full shoulderstand. I personally do not recommend doing shoulderstand without the help of blankets anyways. Another way to do a half shoulderstand is to place a firm block underneath your butt (come into bridge and then place the block underneath your sacrum) and lift your legs straight up. Roll your shoulders under, and interlace your hands.
