Revamped Armoires for Small-Space Storage: Start with a basic armoire, unfinished or just outdated by Allison Maze. Craft Supply & Demand: Revamp an armoire with wallpaper and ribbon trim. What a great idea for a home office space! So you would need an extra closet to accomplish this but you wouldn't have to worry about tidying everything up, just close the doors! BHG
Craftaholics Anonymous® | Small Craft Room Storage Ideas - IKEA lamp, IKEA hanging containers - paint the desk a crisp white and add some colour and it'd be a fun place to craft - that desk has great storage too, and if you painted stripes or something sweet (fun paper?) across the back, the contrast would be pretty.
Creative Closet: Fashion a creative hub in a wide closet with overhead shelves and a wall-mounted desk. Fabric-covered paint canisters and books are pretty ways to collect project supplies, while swatch baskets below the work surface keep clutter at bay.
I would love to have a little office/studio corner for myself, just like this one. Or inside of a closet, as I've also seen in BHG. Either way, my ideal home would have some space like this, just for me.
Craft space organization: If you only have a closet or a small nook (could be covered by a pretty curtain or doors), this is an awesome way to get organized - the rolling cart is at IKEA and the white boxes to the r/h side are from Michael's - often at 40% off. The ribbon/etc holder also from Michael's, but would be easy to build and probably more sturdy.
