I seriously had this game and used to play it with my girlfriends at sleepovers all the time. No way, a trip down memory lane!

Girl Talk is the name of a board game first sold in 1988. It was a popular/staple game for teenage girls throughout the 90s. It was similar to the parlour game Truth or Dare. Girl Talk was one of a rash of "teenage girl-themed games" that appeared on the market in the 80s and 90s based around boys, talking on the phone, dancing, having parties and sleepovers, and other "girl-ish" themes.

Any girl that grew up in the 80's will remember these!

Remember the library "check out" card? If you've even been IN a library lately - it's all scanned. But - really - doesn't everyone do this via Kindle now?

when he first saw this toy, my teenage son, who had never seen an old-school cash register before, said, "What is that, Baby's First Slots?"

My sister wanted one of these so bad.. I don't remember if she ever got one..

Still have some :) Jr doll skirts, backpack purses and top it off with plastic barrettes for ultra coolness.

Before there were computers, books were checked out this way.

Fisher Price Ferris Wheel. (I have never seen this one before! Amazing! Why did they stop making such cool stuff?)

Phone booth. A place to sit, a door to close, and usually an intact phone book, as well!

So remember wearing these and having to call my mom or dad to constantly tie the straps.
