Just the right amount of layering to add movement but avoid a stringy look. I like that the ends are blunt cut.

Shoulder length hair by diane.smith. I really like this cut. When I decide I am tired of long hair this is the cut!

Stylist Alissa Tietgen shows us the trending haircut for Fall–a mid-length style that just grazes the collarbone. Alissa advises this is such a great cut because it flatters all face shapes and doesn’t have the high maintenance and upkeep of a shorter length. Over time longer hair can look damaged, thin and straggly at the ends–these before and afters show us how taking off a few inches while keeping a healthy length makes your hair look naturally voluminous and full.

this has been my goal style for about six months..... i am almost there!!! just a little more length

Classic Med-length cut. Collarbone-grazing w tiny bit of layering snipped vertically into the ends. Just past the shoulders so looks like long hair w/out the upkeep. Fine hair won't look stringy. Better with a side part. Have stylist cut ends right at your collarbone or 2 inches below, anything in between can cause a funny flip. Allure mag. 2013.
