Great painting tip - Cover doorknobs with foil to keep the paint off.  So much easier than taping.

No more oops! moments when painting, if you cover doorknobs and hardware with aluminum foil.(I would still put tape around the base of the knob where it meets the door, then the foil to protect the knob)

Re-use plastic bottle tops to tightly seal food bags. Cut off wide-mouth plastic bottle top just at crest. save the cap. slip over bag opening. top toward the open end. Fold bag over bottle mouth. cap with re-used bottle top. easy to seal and pour!
