Chia seeds are really good for you. You can buy ground chia seeds as well and mix in oatmeal, shakes, yogurt, etc.

Chia seeds! I throw some in my smoothies, soak them in water to make a gel base for smoothies, or soak in almond milk - similar consistency to tapioca but throw some fresh fruit in and you are good to go!!

    Chia seeds are wonderful, but please bear in mind that this chart is ounce for ounce. An ounce of chia contains 115mg of potassium, an average banana contains 422mg. Do your comparisons based on your serving size, not ounce for ounce.
