Honey chicken kabobs with veggies. You can marinate overnight and make these kabobs for an outdoor barbecue as a tasty alternative to the usual barbecue fare! Fresh mushrooms and cherry tomatoes can also be used. (This can also be done in the broiler.)
Watermelon Lemonade ½ c sugar 4 c cubed watermelon 3½ c water ½ c fresh lemon juice 1. Boil sugar +1/2 c water, stirring sugar to dissolve. Set aside. 2. Puree watermelon until smooth;strain through a fine mesh sieve. This should yield ~2 c of watermelon juice. 3. Mix the simple syrup w/3 c cold water + the lemon juice. Stir well. 4. Fill glasses with ice, add ~3 tablespoons of watermelon juice; top with lemonade. Stir gently before serving.
