Grow an Avocado Tree from the pit (for a houseplant, it probably won't produce fruit). After drying, the pit is suspended in a glass of water and once there is root growth of about 2″, it can be planted in a pot of soil and tended to as a houseplant. If your climate allows, you can plant this outdoors.
avacado plants...we used to do this with my gma when we were growing up, I have been thinking about starting some avacado plants again lately...I think I will :-)
When a pinner suggested "Grow an Avocado Tree. Florida pinner did about 5 years ago. Their tree is HUGE now and got our first avacado! They are beautiful trees." Pinner in Texas wonder if they will grown in Texas?! =D...I am wondering will they grow in GA. Its called: COMMUNITY...
