Chip it cards are a fun and engaging, hands-on way, to help students develop, master, and review addition fluency, with sums to 10 and 20. Just leave these cards in your math station, along with chips, counting bears, or any of your small manipulatives. Each card contains three equations to solve. Two of them equal the sum on the card and one does not. Students cover the incorrect equation and check their answer with the answer key.

Break the code is a fun way to practice reading and writing CVC words, as well as, rhyming, and phoneme substitution. Students use the code to figure out what the CVC words are. Once they have written the words, they will follow the directions to write a new word on the line. They will be asked to write a word that rhymes with it, or, to substitute the initial, medial, or final phoneme. There are 6 different sheets for each skill, making a total of 24 different break the code printables.
