Koigu Linen Stitch Scarf by Churchmouse Yarns and Teas I made two of these scarves. Very slow going, but quite pretty once finished. Slow going because of the nature of the stitch, not the difficulty of the pattern.

As much as I love these different projects I keep seeing with linen stitch and beautiful colorful yarns you'd think I'd be making one already...

Wish it was a crochet stitch! Interesting stitch. gorgeous misti alpaca yarn in 'havasu'.

"Missoni-esque scarf. Looks like linen stitch using multiple colors of variegated yarns - one color per row. Knit lengthwise. Liked that the knitter knit into the back of the loop of the first and last stitches to tighten them."

Beautiful Shell pattern...someone was asking me about this pattern the other day. I hope they are following my Crochet Pattern board :)

Stitching // omg Julia this was the final push to inspire me to start embroidering, tooooooo. Going to the craft store tomorrow.

A thin, single skein alapaca scarflet. The pattern is Cross-Stitch Scarf from the book "101 Designer One-Skein Wonders", and the yarn is Misti Alpaca Hand Paint Chunky in the colorway Havasu.
