Have student wrinkle up the paper heart (not tearing it) and then try to flatten it out. Discuss how words or actions can harm a heart and take time to heal.... Good first week of school activity!

Good FHE lesson...The Girl Who Never Made Mistakes. great for teaching that mistakes are ok...and how to learn from mistakes. So great for setting up a positive learning environment. Good for beginning of year

How have u taught diversity to your kids?

Our Routine Clock

Love this creative idea for a fun birthday board! Students were grouped by month and held their birthdays up on whiteboards.

First Week Of School Activities... I like the idea of classmates interviewing each other. I don't think I would do this on the FIRST day... but maybe later in the week.

Countdown to last day of school. Pop one balloon each day. Inside is a special surprise for the day. Ex. No homework, read outside, work with no shoes on, chew gum in the morning, etc.
