Always bring my hammock and extra lengths of rope so no matter how far the tree is, I can hang my hammock. Just wrap the rope around the tree twice and tie with one of the many secure knots. Tie a third rope to use to pull to swing yourself. Zackery Smith Photography

camping is my favorite, set up the tent in the back yard & furnish it with real furniture (beds, lamps, rocking chair) for when you can't really get away.
