Mop hardwood floors with 1 gal. hot water. 1/2 cup vinegar, 2 Tablespoons baking soda, and a few drops of dish soap. Shiny floors, house smells grand. I also mopped my dingy linoleum tile floors in my kitchen this was better than any floor cleaner I have ever bought off the shelf!
Blessing in a Bottle 12 oz. of White Vinegar 12 oz. of Dawn Dish soap 1 tsp. of Laundry Detergent also known as kitchen Magic This stuff will get through anything, make your sink and shower shine like new,
This is on my "To Try" list. Fill a spray bottle w/ 1/2 cup of BLUE Dawn & 1/2 cup of white vinegar to create a cleaning solution for soap scum in bath/shower/sink. Important: Vinegar needs to be heated first. Heat in microwave approx. 1 minute. In addition, if you need to increase measurements that's fine. Always use equal parts of each ingredient. Remember: heated vinegar is key. So, only make what you will use. Spray the surface to be cleaned. Let sit for 1 to 2 hours. Rinse…
I tried this and the soap scum came right off. I'm completely impressed and no coughing from all the chemicals in cleaners. Never buying shower cleaner again. 1 cup each - warm white vinegar (microwave 2 min) + 1c Original Dawn. Spray, leave for 15 min, rinse.
I always just use white vinegar to shampoo my carpets but must try this stain remover as well. Mix 1/4 cup salt, 1/4 cup borax and 1/4 cup vinegar, then apply this paste to deep stains or heavily soiled sections of carpet.
"ONLY use this and it leaves floor spotless. (Heavy duty floor cleaner recipe: ¼ cup white vinegar, 1 tablespoon liquid dish soap, ¼ cup baking soda, 2 gallons tap water, very warm.) It leaves everything smelling amazing."
