The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon. A crime story told from the point-of-view of an autistic boy. His perceptions are as, or more, fascinating than solving the crime! My favorite Mark Haddon book.
Cool design- Book design with matchbook surface spine - Fahrenheit 451 is a dystopian novel which presents a future American society where books are outlawed and firemen burn any house that contains them. By Elizabeth Perez.
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. A friendship between a wealthily boy and the son of his father's servant. Moving but would be even more difficult to read now than it was several years ago (when I read it), given that the book is set in Afganistan.
