Climate-Friendly Sunken Pool Converts into Radiant Floor Here’s a truly glamorous idea for a pool. A sinking pool! The apparently permanent stone floor in this room literally slowly drops to reveal the pool underneath. In the raised position, you can walk on the same surface radiantly warmed from beneath. And of course, having the swimming pool convert itself into a floor makes it child-friendly too: this is not a pool that a child can fall into. Once it is sunken it looks like any other indoor pool – as permanent as you could possibly want.

Hydrofloors are pools with movable floors. Its just like a normal pool but when you are done swimming you press a button and the pool’s floor slowly rises up while the water slips underneath the floor. When the pool’s floor reaches the top you are left with a large flat area you can use for anything. Press the button again and the floor sinks back down slowly to reveal your already water-filled pool. You can also stop the floor at any point, meaning you can make the pool however deep you want to

Hydrofloors are only like the coolest thing ever invented. They are specially designed pools with movable floors. When you’re using your pool it’s just like a normal pool. But when you are done swimming or aquacising, you press a button and the pool’s floor slowly raises up while the water slips underneath the floor. Pimpin! Eventually the pool’s floor reaches the top and you are left with a large flat area you can use for recreation, dining, parties or any other dry land events. Dream house!

Hidden pool. Floor sinks and water rises. The floor can be stopped at any point for the desired depth of the pool.

Painted wood floor: fill in any large gouges or scrapes, and sand the entire floor lightly. you can use nearly any paint on the floor, but if you're concerned about it rubbing off with traffic, talk to the people in the paint store/department. you can also get clear acrylic sealer to paint over the floor once it's dried and once cured, it'll protect the paint job.

I want a glass pool wall. Wait, I just want a pool.

not the greatest photo, but like the idea of an overhead shot looking down on a courtyard

amazing pool room! I'd crank the heat to 85, put on some Norah Jones, and forget about the world for a couple hours...
