SO COOL! Dye Eggs with Embroidery Floss : cut floss into small sections; create nest inside piece of tin foil; place egg on top and top with more floss; wrap egg with foil; place in pan with water, bring to boil for 20 mins.
My grandma always dyed eggs with onion peels--that's how they did it back in the day! We made some last year but struggled with keeping the onion peel on the egg. This looks like an easier alternative.
Rothko eggs I'm going to do these year 'round Gradient Easter eggs. Put dye in cup so bottom third of egg is covered. After a few minutes add water until half the egg is covered. Repeat until whole egg is covered.
